The hook hanger is made from bird safe durable powder coated steel that has a wonderful reflective finish. The inner leveling bar on the hanger has a slight bend in it to keep the bowl nice and flat. The cage leveling bar on the back of the hanger that keeps it sitting level and comfortable against the cage bars. The backside of the hanger has (2) big loop hanger hooks made from the hanger itself. These hooks have flat edges and can grab most horizontal cage bars. The front of the hanger is a large hoop where the bowl sits. The bowl has been made from stainless steel and also has a wonderful reflective shiny silver finish. The lip of the bowl measures approximately (5/8) inches or (0.62) inches with a very small tapered edge that lets it sit neatly in the hanger.
