The 1321 Ring Key Claw Chain Ring from Bonka Bird Toys is a durable and very useful bird safe claw ring. These claw rings have a wonderful highly reflective silver color finish, are 100% bird safe and can be used for so many different things. Each pack includes (3) of the high quality key claw chain rings and each has (3) parts on each. There is the main grabbing crab claw on the front of the clip. This claw has (2) rounded hook portions that slide next to each other via grooved edges. A comfortable finger lever sits on the side of the moveable claw making for a very comfortable grip in the hand. The other claw stays firmly in place as you use the lever to open the hooks. The back of the hook claw has a swivel joint that easily spins a full 360 degrees. This joint has a bolt end with the base of the back loop wrapped around the joint. This makes for a super sturdy and moveable joint. The rear hoop has a thick sturdy design and is excellent for hanging other items from the claw. On each claw hanging from the hoop end is a large key chain loop. This loop can be used to add your favorite keys and other hangables or in whatever manner you choose. The big comfortable key claw fits around most bird cage bars and is a superb solution to keep cage openings closed. When used to lock a cage door the key claw hooks firmly grab the cage bars and preventing pet birds from opening them. My two AG kept trying to get out of their cages (they are usually out for 3 to 4 hours a day) but sometimes they must be in their cages when we leave. These clips worked perfect for there food doors. They cannot open these clips. I love them! We just drilled a small hole in the round ring in order to add these stainless steel clips from Bonka birds. Don’t hesitate to purchase, it works well to keep all their cage doors secure!
I needed something to keep the parakeets from opening the doors. They are like little monkeys...always trying things These clips hold just right. I left one of the extra loops in one .they try to remove it all day.
These clips do not remain closed. There doesnt seem to be a spring mechanism that gives any force to stay shut. Do not use if for a bird who escapes. They will be able to open just by pushing on the door.
Macaw snapped it into 2 pieces and a spring in under 60 seconds

I really needed these. The slide locks on my cages all broke and this solves my problem.
My African Greys love it and it lasts a while, like 2 weeks. They go thru toys so quickly it’s nice to have a toy for 2 weeks! Great foraging toy for medium parrots. Don’t hesitate to try you can hide small pieces of nuts or veggies in this toy!
