Watch ‘till the end. You can’t see the rubber sandel in the video but, trust me, it’s there. The only way I can divert my Grey’s attention away from opening my bathroom cabinets is to barricade her with a bath tile, and I drop a tennis shoe and a rubber sandal down the top. She loves the privacy and coziness and chomps on her toys while I take a shower in peace … our daily routine!!

My African Grey (Timneh) loves destroying her little clogs as you can see by the photo. Loves to chomp & chew. I do wish though that they didn’t have the little studs. I always remove them rather than taking the chance her swallowing them.

These little sandals are good chomping for Stella, my 17 year old African Grey. I often switch textures for her so these soft rubbery toys are perfect. Prior to my recent order they were made with a strap with little metal fasteners that I always removed before giving it to her. It made no sense why something that she might swallow would be attached to a toy. I’m happy that dangerous detail seems to have finally been eliminated
