When it seems that one pack of bark Sola sticks is enough, I am sadly reminded that it is never enough. Once these budgies have their sights on the Sola sticks, these are the first to go! I do my best to include them to each of their toys as they seem to have so much fun with them! These are a must- have in our household!
My budgies love the sola sticks! They are a hit in this household! This video shows when one of the toys I made withh sola sticks were just put on for them to play with. I will definitely be buying more!
She lives for sola toys, this is her brothers house while he’s out flying lol I buy all my sola here and love I can buy multi piece packs she eats 1 a day 😁
My lorikeet makes platforms with these on the side of her cage then she chews them up and starts all over again.
I just pop them in between the bars and she does the rest!
I love all the items I received in my order. I don't have time to rate every single one, suffice to say that i always receive quality products from Bonka Bird toys. Fair pricing, great owner, great service!
I thought he would love to strip the bark from these, but no, he likes to chop bits off. So next time, I am getting the non-bark ones, but he still loves to chomp these to bits.
A favorite of my lorikeet. She prefers this type of sola - with bark over just the smooth one. Must be the texture. She perches and tears and chews. So good for her.
The Umbrella cockatoo in whose cage I place the brown (and white) log-like toys IMMEDIATELY attacks the chews them to pieces. The fervor with which he attacks it makes me think it reminds him of some animal, maybe a snake. So they are a good distraction for the bird, and I plan to continue to buy them going forward.
Thank so much for the package of bird fun makings ! How cool. I'm itching to get started, just picked up some jute twine from the hardware store. Knit all this together? Sew? Crochet? Braid? macrame? yikes ! some many options to combine with YOUR bird fun ingredients. Thank you, thank you.
I regularly purchase Sola balls and Sola sticks to make toys for my Parrotlet. I string them together with cupcake papers and icecream cones (no sugar/no salt) to make his favorite toy. Great way to provide a super fun toy without the high cost of assembled toys. If you have old toys that don’t get your bird attention you can add these to to make a new exciting toy. No need to purchase expensive new toys. A great way to save money and provide your bird with entertainment they need.
