There are four (4) doors total, which includes a large and convenient front access door, a whimsical and fun roof access door to give your pet opportunities for exploration, and two (2) small feeder doors to make caring for your beaked buddy an easy and painless task. It’s also important to note that the feeder doors open outward, which prevents birds from escaping. You may notice that the door locks featured on the SLUX 1816 are the Round 1334 Lock 6 and the Spring Lock 7. Each feeder door comes equipped with its own 10 oz stainless steel bowl, for two (2) bowls total. They will last for the lifetime of the cage with proper care and cleaning.
The interior of the SLUX 1816 includes one (1) inner wooden perch for your pet to use as a pleasant resting spot after a tiring day of flying and fun. You can open the roof access door to apply the upper perch, which gives your winged wingman more chances for excitement and merry fun. Indeed, this “playpen” area from the opened top will likely become a favorite of your beaked buddy. The complete dimensions for the cage are (18) inches wide, (16) inches deep, and a total height of (57) inches, with an inside height of (31) inches. Also note that the bar spacing for the cage is ½”, with 3mm bar thickness. As the birdkeeper, you will also appreciate the slide-out grill and slide-out cleaning tray, which help to make maintaining the cage as easy as possible You can also apply an optional seed guard, which adds (3.5) inches all around.
Other features include the four (4) flanged rolling casters for easy movement, a bottom storage shelf, and a safety latch. The entire cage weighs about 55 lbs.
