1846 Pluck My Bobbins

Your medium to large bird will love preening the bird safe sisal rope and chewing the many bobbins as they climb and spin on the 1846 Pluck My Bobbins. Has lots of mixed wood and plastic beads for different tactile chews and a bell at the bottom. This preening toy offers birds a safe alternative to feather picking behavior.

The 1846 Pluck My Bobbins is suggested for Cockatiels to African Greys but many other species can easily have just as much bird fun with this toy. It measures at approximately 16 inches high by 7 inches wide, and it comes complete with a quick link attachment for easy cage placement. This option is also a great toy for preening. Preening is a bird's way of grooming its feathers to keep them in the best condition. While preening, birds will remove dust, dirt and parasites from their feathers and align each feather in the optimum position relative to adjacent feathers and body shape. Most birds will preen several times a day to keep themselves healthy. However too much of this can be a bad thing for the bird but this selection gives the bird another alternative so the bird preens only as much as it needs too. By pecking at and chewing on the 1846 Pluck My Bobbins also helps keep their beak in great shape. They can choose to chew on the beads or the sisal rope or even the wood as everything we use to construct this toy here at Bonka Bird Toys is completely bird safe. The bird will also love the sound coming from the bell all while playing with his new toy.
