    Great toy

Posted by Julie Watson on Sep 28th 2019

I was a little skeptical if my cockatiels would be interested in this item. They'd never had it before, and always seemed more interested in paper and palm toys. I bought it anyway, because the price was fair and I thought the cupcake paper had a chance of catching their interest. Boy, did it. As soon as they figured out they could shred the sola, it was all over. One cockatiel likes to come and chew on it a little at a time, but our second cockatiel spends hours thoroughly destroying it! It's become his favorite toy, and now we're stocked up on several more (including the stacked cupcakes - the more the merrier, as far as our tiel is concerned!)

If you're uncertain that your bird will be interested in this unusual texture, I recommend giving it a go! I was so pleasantly surprised, and love that our little guy has a new passion.

    Parrotlet loves

My parrotlet took a couple days to check the toy out, but once she did she loved it. She started destroying it as soon as she discovered it. It has lasted a while even though she went to town on it. Definitely worth the price.
